Material available: The ECCO-TCP consists of human-created transcriptions of eighteenth-century British books, pamphlets, and other publications from Gale Cengage’s Eighteenth Century Collections Online. The TCP is a library-led initiative to make public domain, early modern books more accessible. The works are provided as human-readable webpages as well as in markup formats, including TEI and XML. All of the included works are in the public domain, and their digital form is now totally free from copyright restrictions (though Gale Cengage retains copyright to the images the text was transcribed from).
